My mother knows I'm underweight, so she buys me all sorts of delectable treats: cookies, Peppermint Patties, chocolate truffles, chocolate peanut butter--you name it, it's in our house.

I know I need to gain weight, but I'd rather do it in a healthy way. When those treats are in the house, though, I always eat too many of them! I've tried everything I can think of. Do you have suggestions on how I can resist these treats, even though they're in my house (and even HIDDEN)?

Allow yourself one or two per day. That way the craving won't hang over your head and you won't be tempted to binge.

Well, peanut butter is pretty good for you, as long as there aren't artificial ingredients in it.

You could limit your consumption of the treats to a couple a day and try to eat more avocados and nuts, which have healthy fats.

Simply walk away, works every time.
