Sorry 'criticize' is a typo. It should be 'criticized.'

Most Christian's are critized because of other Christians. It's kind of hard to explain, but I will do my best. When questioned about what they believe, most Christians can only come up with simple answers, and so they end up giving in to other religions or customs, etc. That's also why there are so many different denominations. Vhristians have to test everything in the world around them by comparing it to the bible, and some people just don't get it, which is fine, and I'm not trying to diss anyone, but the Christians who do get it will just keep the truth to themselves, and thus we have a lost world.

I'm a Christian, but in his own offensive way Mario M has the right answer. Unfortunately, there are a lot of "Christians" who spend there time telling other people how to live and who would love ot have a Christian version of the Taliban. Not to mention the Televangelists getting rich by using God's name. People tend to judge all of us by the action of these few bad apples. That's just human nature it seems - to judge a whole group by the actions of a few.
Of course, even if you think someone's just generalizing, if someone criticizes you, it never hurts to stop and think about if they have a point.

Do you mean why do Christians criticize? Or Why are Christians critized?

True Christians don't criticize but try to love, respect and accept others regardless of their beliefs. At least that is how I am raising my son.

Those who criticize Christians probably have never known a true Christian.

While I cannot speak for everyone, I personally do not criticize "Christians," I criticize their religion and the concept of religion. I tend to be respectful of people regardless of their religions, so long as they respect me (even then I rarely engage rude people in any sort of discourse).

SOME Christians are very critical (and condescending) of people who do not think like they do. Most Christians (unfortunately) end up facing the consequences of this.

Because we have so many mean nasty bastards that call themselves "christian" and make God look bad. I always tell people not to judge God by man's behavior.

Disclaimer
By the way, I am using "bastards" from Hebrews 12 in the KJV so get over it.

because every group gets criticism. Can you name one that doesn't?

Seriously. Every organization is bashed by one group or another, and so many claim that the reason they are "persecuted" is because they are right. No one is unique in this.

If we were to want to talk to people about a way to go to a "happy place" when they die, without having to answer for the bad things they do in this life, they would be more willing to listen. Thieves dont like to be called thieves, adulterers dont like to be called adulterers. Sinners dont like to be told that they will have to answer for their actions someday, because they know they'll be found guilty, just like we all will. Even us Christians. Were all sinners, we all deserve to die and spend eternity in hell. We only want to tell people about a way to avoid hell. To tell them about someone who payed the price for their sins by offering him self as a PERFECT sacrafice, a task that no one else in history could do. We dont want to force our religion on anyone, we just want to tell them about it.

Because their opinions differ from others. That's the simple answer. Christians also have the annoying habit of being smug about their opinions and displaying what seems to be an appalling lack of education when trying to explain their logic.

Because they criticize everyone else, pay back's a ***** ain't it? Other reasons include:

To see if it has any merit (and to many who criticize it, there is none to them)

Because Christianity is the number one religion in the U.S.A.

Because it seems that Christianity is corrupt and power-hungry. (In my opinion, just look at the mega-churches.)

And,

Sometimes...it's just fun...^_^

Hope this helps!! ^_^
