I am going to be 17 soon and everyone around me has a relationship going including my friends who barely have time to hang out anymore due to this, my parents are also divorced and i basically live by myself since my mom does not get home until late at night from work and her boyfriend. I just want to meet a girl i will really like who can spend time with me when im lonely and talk to when im down. I've really liked about 4 girls since freshman year but none worked out, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated besides, just wait for the right one.

My heart aches for the pain and loneliness that is your life currently.It is really tough to deal with all of the issues that it appears you are having to deal with and at a young age too.Although my heart goes out to you, I do not have one "magic bullet" style solution that I can offer you .Hence, I give you the following suggestions:1)become involved in some school activities that would help expand the people you meet especially gals2)decide within you the qualities you want in a girlfriend, make a list if it will help understand the most important from the least important.3)do not allow the 4 experiences discourage you from trying to find a new gal.4)I am sure there are some girls you have some interest inand you can start there by going out to a movie or concert.This way, you have people you can talk to, build a relationship with ,make friends, and maybe find a special girl. You can also write me whenever you need a friend or are feeling down. Just direct the message to me specifically using my yahoo name and I promise that I will keep in contact with you.
