I feel like I'm starting to hate the routine of my life and am almost ready to risk everything just to have a change. I know this is not normal...I've worked this hard to acheive all that I have and now it just doesn't seem to matter.

Gradually change your daily routine to allow for more free time. You dont need to change everything all at once, or give up anything you have worked hard for. 95 percent of the people you deal with will be more than understanding of your need to have some free time to do what you want. No one is expected to work all the time. So, if your scedual doesnt allow for any fun, start re-arranging differnt items on your list, and make time for some of the things you want to do. Start off small, and work your way up to having some free time on a regular basis.
Join a club or team, and just let people know that you have another prior commitment, and you will not be available at certain times.

Mann, if you don't take risks in life, you are never gonna have fun. Risks/challenge are fun. You should change the routine, and hang out with friends. If not, when its too late you are gonna realize you have no social life! And I know what you have now has taken most of your life and doesn't seem like it should be wasted but heyy is work all you wanna do?

People are working too many hours, and too many days. Vacations and shorter hours are definitely in order.

Also, being cooped up at work all the time encourages inter-office relationships--which are absolutely no-no's--get out of the worksite, and into the world!

I know how you feel.

All that hard work in college. I sacrificed my social life. And now that I am out, I have nothing to do but look for a better job. No parties now. No social life or romantic life.

But it's too late now. Welcome to the real world.

PS- How many hours a week do you work?
