wherever i am i always see someone crossing their legs (at the knee) i've seen so many people do it mainly women. my gilfriend always crosses her legs when she sits no matter what she is wearing. i was just curious why people do it, and do you notice when you do or out of habbit? is it really that comfortable?

ever since 17, I've crossed my legs no matter where I am or what I am doing. except for sleeping, lol. I try my best not to, but it is a habit and a hard one to break at that, bc it feels uncomfortable when I do NOT cross my legs.

It's comfortable, but also women are taught to cross their legs at the knee or ankle from the time they are young women. By the time you get to be an adult, it's a habit.

To me it really is more comforatble. I do it at home on the couch too. Maybe I'm so used to it that it feels weird not to. But I think it is just a tradition going back to old days when women wore skirts and were taught to keep their legs closed.

When you're bored you change sitting positions. But you shouldn't sit with your legs crossed because it's bad for the blood circulation in your legs.

I think grown adult men, like business-class ones do it out of what they feel is professional etiquette.
Women do it because, it to, is attributed to proper etiquette.
I just think it's a habit
