There isn't a place on the application, explaining what they mean and to me, they could be asking about anything, thanks.

They are asking if you have been put in a position of responsibility with others peoples property or valuables.
Real Estate agents must be bonded, as they are put in a position of trust in peoples homes.
A person with a criminal record of theft may not be able to be bonded. The usual question is "Are you bondable", which is an around the bush way of asking "Are you an honest person, trustworthy, with no criminal background"
Unless you are a real kleptomaniac, just out of prison, just say yes, it is rarely checked, unless it is a position of high authority with alot cash or valuables.
McDonald's will ask but not follow through. You know.
Or you will know if you DO have to be bonded.
Just say yes, I'm bondable, and act appropriately!

This is usually a requirement if you handle cash. If you have handled cash, you may have been bonded whether or not you realize it.
Unless you know for sure, put down a question mark. I would say, "I handled the petty cash, but I never knew whether or not I was bonded." O ASSUME I was, but they never said anything.
opn the other had, a bank teller, for example, would have completed a formal bond application.

The easiest way I can explain it is. If for say you are cleaning a house. People in that business get bonded for insurance reasons so if anything breaks or you fall and hit your head. It is an insurance. Very few get bonded. and chances are you have not ever been bonded.
