I really can't believe that you can even figure out how to flush.

They sell cat toilet training kits. We trained an older male, he was at least five yrs old so it can be done. Don't count on it learning to flush, but just having them use the potty is a lot cleaner. Be aware that if you use painted wood toilet seats you will have to replace it more often because the nails will scratch it. See site for one of the best kits.

I've never actually tried this, but have heard it will work. You put a pan under the toliet lid, fill it with litter and show the cat that this is the place to go. Eventually it will come to see the toliet as the litter box...supposedly. Not sure how you will ever teach it to flush. There are kits available to teach a cat this....or at least there used to be.

you can buy a thing that fits over the toliet seat and holds a small amount of litter to get your cat started in using the potty you cant expect your cat to ever flush by itself... thats learned after if ever. it is a cool trick and is really nice to be able to flush the stencth...only one small problem. you cat will be crapping and pissing on your toliet and wont always do the best at aiming. so more then a few times youll be in a rush at night to use the bathroom only to find yourself sitting in cat urine and crap. not to mention youll have to clean your toliet alot more often.

PetSmart actually has a training device you can buy....good luck getting it to flush...it is not impossible, but would take some hardcore training..sounds to me like you aren't much of a trainer. Good luck anyway.

Some will and some won't. I wouldn't teach it to flush, or it may find it a new and amusing game and your water bills will skyrocket.
