They should feel welcome. If they are legal, they do feel welcome. If they are illegal, they should hide in the shadows. My wife and stepdaughter came here legally and have their green cards. They would not even consider paying the $11,000 a "snakehead" wanted to bring my daughter here complete with social security card, birth certificate, and even school transcripts delivered to my front door in three weeks. Instead, it cost $16,000 and three years to bring a 12 year old to her mother. But, it was done legally. Mother and daughter love this country and feel they are a part of it. They chose to obey the law rather than start as a criminal in their new country. The mother is applying for citizenship. They came here as democrats and are now turning into republicans because of the govt. stupidity over immigration.
