I believe the antichrist, the person who will be indwelt by satan in the middle of the tribulation period is alive today. I will list some reasons why I believe this:
1) Just last week a company in Florida began manufacturing microchips to be implanted in people with Alzheimer's. This follows on the heels of microchips already being embedded in cats and dogs. The company "claims" that the chips do not contain a GPS device, but what good would the chips be for a Alzheimer patient unless someone had a way of tracking their whereabouts?
2) Two days ago, on MSN they had an article about dividing Jerusalem. Some Israeli's who are for this say if they give the Palastines part of Jerusalem, maybe this would cut back on the violence.
3) We are becoming more of a "cashless" society. Credit cards are the preperred method of paying bills and buying things. Do you know why? Because there is no way to "trace" cash, but there are ways to monitor credit card spending.
I believe things are being put into place so that all he will have to do is take over the "management" of them. With embedded chips in people, cameras on streets, and GPS devices in new vehicles, he will have the means to keep track of everything & everybody.
I didn't go into all the filth that's being shown on television, children being disrespectful to their parents, people who have a "live for today" attitude, and how those who want "peace" are willing to sacrifice anything to get it.
Yes, I believe he is waiting in the wings somewhere in the world, waiting to give people who are lovers of themselves more than Christ exactly what they want.

I dont believe the antichrist is alive today, or at least no visible today. I do agree that the stage is being set. Just look at the EU and now the new north american alliance being established that will happen by about 2010. Then look at what daniel spoke about in terms of a one world government. Not to mention the new hate crimes bill that will stop a Christian in their tracks if they wish to express an opinion on whether or not a homosexual is born gay or not. We are slowly being indoctrinated and slowly with our total consent allowing our freedoms to be eroded. I think its near, but of course we cant know for sure the exact time. Gods peace :)

I agree with you. I cannot say whether he is alive and well, but the establishment of the EU definitely says something, the concept of "one world" is a sign of the end times. Also another end times sign has to do with Israel taking back their temple, and they already have all the the ceremonial tools ready to move in: robes, altars etc. Not saying that is going to happen tomorrow...but you never know. The Bible says no one will know the hour when Christ returns. The concept of global warming/crazy weather and never-before seen catastrophes as of late (crazy hurricanes, tsunamis etc.) is also very interesting because there are references in the Bible to extreme weather changes occuring near the end times, on a couple of occasions the condition of the earth is likened to "birthing pains."
The Bible says we should be ready at all times......so whether or not the Anti-Christ is alive and well, or if the stage is being set or not.........be prepared!

He will arrive at the 6th trump....which the number 6 means imperfection and Christ will arrive at the furthest trump out which is the 7th trump.........did you know the #7 means spiritual completeness or perfection......this is when Christ will show up.

I would agree with you completely. This was all too evidenced by today's news that Isreal is now considering giving up land it secured in the war of 1967 in return for a "final peace agreement".
If we are to believe that the "anti-christ" is indeed human, then yes, I would say he is living amoung us.

There are many anti-Christ souls already here who molest His name and tarnish the image of Christiantity. They are known as Televangelists spread all over the world. They are all doing well thanks to the ignorant, illiterate and naive believers.

Well according to the ancient Mayan calendar the wolrd is going to end on December 12, 2012. Keep in mind that they aslo supposedly predicted the stock market crash and 9/11. Just some food for thought.
