I live in Canada and am interested in getting a green card. Do I need to go to an immigration office in the U.S. or will an immigration office here in Canada be able to help me with that?

May be you better call the immigration office and find out. They'll give you the correct answer.

Once again, there's no easy way to get a green card.

You'll need an immediate family member in the United States to petition you or you'll need to start with a work visa which is very hard to get.
