My brothers room mate left his seabag in his room and we want to mail it to his mom. As you know it is a very large and heavy bag. What is the easiest way to go about shipping this item? We are not sure to leave everything in the bag and ship it, or take it out and ship it all in a box. I hate to take out his stuff since it is his personal items. Thanks.

UPS ground. It will probably be too heavy to ship USPS, and it's too dang big to go any other way. you may even be able to ship it as it, no boxing necessary.

Contact a local airline that flies where he is stationed. Sometimes they will ship it to him for no cost.

Leave it in the bag, box it up and life is good. That's what I always did.
