i wrote my feelings on how i felt about people who did not serve there country because i felt they were cowards, well i got responses on how bad my words were and other bs a coward would do as i guess a few cowards wifes have steped up to the plate to cover for there loved one. i liked the responses and expected what i got when i opened up this can of worms in defence for our fighting americans, some even thought there minds were to good to go to war and we needed them here, more BS!!and that they pay taxes, who needs your pennys such as they are. my whole point was to bring out how cowards would react and how they could try and explain their why's, but what it all comes down to is honor and pride!! and when a trader ,coward and one who runs to another country and craw's into a hole and wait till the storm is over is also a coward and when they look into the mirrow i wonder if they can still see that yellow stripe that runs down there very soul?

I'm so very sorry for the anger and pain you are feeling toward your brothers and sisters. May peace be with you.

I understand what you are saying; I've made several of these points before myself.

Person A: I would join the military, but with this war going on...
Me: If you aren't willing to fight a war, don't join the military

Person A: If there's a draft, I'm headed for Canada.
Me: A draft would only be reinstated in a period of extreme emergency. If you would abandon your countrymen in such a time, I say good riddance!

I do, however disagree that anyone who doesn't join the military is a coward. I chose to serve in the military, but I view civil service as a commendable way to serve the nation as well. Those that leech on society are parasites that I feel should be purged, but I'll leave things like that to the natural laws. Maybe the world will come to see things like I do, but probably not.

I would, however, encourage you to alter the way you put out your ideas. You are more likely to make people think your ideas are stupid because of both the extreme way of saying it and your poor grammar. Speak about it as if you are explaining it, and stop venting.

I was one of those who ripped you as you deserved. I guess I was one of those cowards. What served six years and that makes you a man? Why didnt you do 20? Get over yourself. And I will defend my friends and any persons right who didn't serve against your behavior. That is what a man is. Not hiding behnd some avatar.
A real hero you must have been and are to this day. Real Honor is something you lack.
BTW No question just another rant

Only 15% of adult males between the age of 18 and 26 can even meet the physical standards for enlistment in the military. So, by your logic, the 85% who can't "make the cut" are cowards. I will light a candle tonight and say a prayer of thanksgiving that you are not in charge of target selection in this war or any other war.

By adding a ? symbol to a line of type does not make it a legitimate question.
