I chose Primerica. My wife and I are on one policy- we only pay 1 $75 policy fee, other companies give husband one and wife one. This equals $150. Also, if you want to include your children on the policy they will be included as a rider, no fees. You can get anything from 1k-25k, pay up to $15 for the rider @ 25k, and, most importantly, the rider covers present children and ANY other children that come along in the future. When kids turn 25, thay can have their own policy at twice the value with no medical exam. For adults, they can have a 10% policy increase for 10 years to Double the face amount by the 10th year.
Great company! Now I work with them.

There are a number of highly respected life insurance companies out there. I have my pesonal policies with New York Life. At the time I was buying the policies (10 years ago) they offered the best coverage and pricing. They also gave me a rider which included a death benefit to me if my son died before me. It is still a very good value for me and my family.

Knights of Columbus, because it is a fraternal and exempt from income taxes. All excess returns go to the policy holders and it is well managed.
