I am using Microsoft Office Word 2003. I was doing coursework and then suddenly it wouldnt let me type, its saying that i cannot modify the document because it is locked. How do i unlock it??

Go to Tools, Click on Unprotect Document. Based on your situation, I don't think that you set up a password to protect your document. If a password box appears, and you don't know what the password is, the link below should help you out.
