My girlfriend wants to talk to me in private. We haven’t been hanging out lately and I don’t think she’s feeling it anymore. I feel as though the chemistry is gone. I’m not 100 % sure, but if she does breaks the bad news to me, is it better that I don’t respond at all? I feel that no matter what I say, it’s not going to change anything. What should I do? Listen to her lecture and take it like a man? That’s going to be hard… Has anyone been through this? What was your experience?

I say take it like a man. When someone is breaking up with a boyfriend/girlfriend, there is not much to say to them that would offend them. Esp. if they don't care much about you anymore.

I say the best way to get back at your ex... is just to find someone new ASAP. Generally and from my experience, it takes longer for the guy to find someone new after a break up. I know some girls will start dating someone new within days after a breakup. There is nothing wrong with it. Girls know this fact, so if you can find someone quick enough, then that will get under her skin for sure.

But don't get into something unhealthy for the sake of doing that. If you can find someone decent for you and just be casual at first will work. Just give the ex- the impression you are better off without them.

Just say you feel the same way, wish her the best, and leave it at that. She'll just think your an asshole if you have a "comeback line" that insults her or starts a fight. Be the bigger person and just say you knew things haven't been that good and you figured she wanted to end the relationship, and that you think shes made the right decision. Even if you don't really feel that way, you still have your dignity and she'll know your a decent guy. If you don't care about that then be an assh*le and say something mean. But I wouldn't recommend that! It would just make her feel better about dumping you.

My question is, why haven't you ended it already? You said the chemistry is gone yet you haven't pulled the plug? If you were worried about hurting your feelings then this is an easy way out- she's doing the work for you. I think you should just agree with it because that way its a mutual break up- she didn't dump you because you wanted it to end too (at least let her think that). Good luck

Just say "thats cool Ive already had you,so it doesnt matter" or say "Youre going to regret it later baby" and walk off.Just try like hell to act like you dont give a damn.Just blow her off or dump her before she gets the chance to do it to you.Call her now and dump her over the phone.

Her loss. Move on, walk away and go meet someone new who likes to hang out. Actions speak louder than words and obviously she's not into you.

definitely listen to all that she has to say. Then when its your turn, tell her how you understand and you're sorry that it couldnt work out.
if you still care about her, be the victim, say "I'm sorry I could never be enough for you" this is a loaded statement that rarely fails.

Tell her she's absolutely right! Just agree with everything she says and then walk away and ball your eyes out.
