Against evil spirits the chief weapons are holy water, the sacraments especially of confession and the holy Eucharist as well as the other sacraments, work, the holy bible, etc. Against other sins there is also the knowledge of Catholic Doctrine, the 10 Commandments, the study of the virtues, spiritual direction, the family, good friends, good spiritual books, the help of good people on the mass media, etc. Then the Catholics are called the Church militant as they are like the soldiers of Christ and they are here to fight to make the world a better place by trying to bring God and His kingdom of love into the world. They have the apostles and the Chruch's magisterium to help them know the truth. The Catholic Church is headed by the Pope who is the vicar of Christ so he is like Peter, the head of the army of God on earth. Then there is Maria, satan's chief enemy. She crished the head of the serpent. There are also the guardian angels, the archangels, the cherubims and seraphims and the intercession of the saints, and the Chruch tirumphant, whose prayers ask God for help and pray for the Church militant, and Chruch suffering. Prayer is also the most powerful weapon of the church, the most powerful of which is the Mass and the holy rosary. With the love of our brothers and sisters around the world and all people of good will who do good and avoid evil, these are the things that make up the army of God who will someday win the victory already won by Jesus Christ. Together, we all work for the salvation of souls hoping to bring as many of us to heaven someday.

Actually, there are quite a few.

1. The unwavering guidance by the Holy Spirit.
2. The seven sacraments and the grace imparted from them.
3. Jesus truly, truly present in the Holy Eucharist (John 6).
4. The protection of God...the gates of Hell will not prevail upon His Catholic Church.
5. Tradition....yes the complete Faith is not contained within Holy Scripture.

6. A teaching authority in the Magisterium headed by the Pope (refer to #1 above.).
7. A rich history of about 2,000 years.
8. Unity of Faith.
9. The priesthood.
10. and many others.

So the biblical scholars mis-translated the Hebrew note for "youthful female" into the Greek note for "virgin," which turned right into a exceptionally common mistake to make, considering there is purely a subtle enormous difference contained in the spelling. yet back then it changed into the "virgin" that stuck human beings's interest. it truly is not on a daily basis a virgin conceives and bears a son. so that you save that for a pair of hundred years, and the subsequent component you understand, you've the Roman Catholic church.

Employed chief weapons? Like, with a pay cheque? I never heard of that before. I miss Mass two weeks in a row and look what happens ... they start to hire chief weapons. No more donations from me ... the NERVE!

The Catholic church claims "if we have a kid up to age 7 we have them for life." That and they appeal to people who are to lazy to question their own faith and just let the priest shove wafers done they're throat.

I love being a Christian with out a denomination.

Looks like it's just you and me.

Same old, same old.
Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition.
Their chief weapon is Surprise ... Surprise and Fear.
Their two main weapons are Surprise and Fear and Ruthless efficiency ...
Their three main weapons are Surprise, Fear and Ruthless efficiency and an almost fanatical devotion to the pope ...

Deception of their true agenda and buying the silence of their detractors. Or offing them through the Jesuits under the "Oath of Extreme Unction" whereby they swear to do anything, even murder, to protect the "The Holy Mother Church" against those who would expose its evil and willful spiritual fraud and deception.

So faith, hope, love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:13)
