every religion has been questioned every once in a while, but people are so rude to Mormons! They'll say rude comments and things! And by the way the true Mormon religion does NOT believe in Polygamy! Only some of there Prophets did but not all!

Mormons call themselves Christians and they are clearly not Christians. The Jesus that they believe in is not the Jesus of the Bible. The fact that they pretend to be Christians is what causes the problems. They should not pretend to be something that they are not.
Mormon leaders have taught that Jesus’ incarnation was the result of a physical relationship between God the Father and Mary. They believe Jesus is a God, but that any human can also become a god. Christians historically have taught that God is Triune and that He exists eternally as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). No one can achieve the status of God, only He is holy (1 Samuel 2:2).

its because they are a cult that tried to get people by using Christianity. they took the true bible and say that it is all lies, this is an attack on Christians, Jews, and Muslims as they hold the bible true.
also they change their beliefs all the time. first it was its ok to have more than one wife than look now its not.
so don't attack others if you don't want to be attacked back.
also they call themselves Christians, but they go against the major truths that all Christians hold. like that God is the only god and that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one god they call three.
that's why people attack they lies of the mormon cult.

If people attack any religion, it is because they are being
judge mental, fearful, prejudice, and definitely not "loving they neighbor". Such judge mental people are not worth a second thought. We should concentrate on ourselves and make sure that WE do not judge others and are not prejudiced against anyone. Even those that attack Mormons as you suggest, have a right to their own opinion, but that does not mean that they are right and everyone else wrong.
You will find that nearly all those who attack an others religion or race, always think that they are right and everyone else is wrong. It is puzzling, because usually the attacks come from those who profess to be "religious" themselves.
Forgive them father for they know not what they do.
I remember that from childhood. Myself I do not belong to an organized religion but I do not condemn those that do because I am trying to be the best person I can be and that means not judging others. I have just read one of the answers to your question. This lady is quoting the Fundamental L.D.S. Church who were cut off from the Mormon Church as we know it now. They are two completely different Churches and the L.D.S. church itself, does not practice polygamy and does NOT practice any of the points that she mentions. Please, get your facts straight before you judge another.

I think it's wrong to attack people but okay to criticize and question beliefs.
This is a public forum and people should expect that not everyone is going to agree with them. I was raised Mormon and for me its all about letting others know that they aren't being taught everything about their religion. The church white washes what it presents and spins the stories to increase faith. I find this dishonest and feel compelled to expose any pious lie that I'm aware of.

I think part of it is misinformation. Like the underwear thing. And the polygamy thing. Part of it is that Mormons go out and preach to people--at their homes. A lot of people find that intrusive. I know that Mormons believe that they are the truth and need to spread that truth, but others believe that THEY are the truth. And there are different ways to spread it. Just through our behavior and our deeds we spread it. The door to door thing is off-putting. In my experience, a lot of pressure is put on people.

Christian like to hate, but in this one they have some valid points.
The Mormons use the name of God and the Name of Jesus.
All resemblance to worship of Christian Gods ends right there.
Ther Mormons beliefs have God living with many wives on a distant planet. God had two sons, Satan and Jesus.
The rest is space opera.
As a result they are and will always be heretics and hijackers of the Christian religion.
They are fairly quiet about it in public , they do make their books available online though if you want to know what they actually believe.

Most Christians believe any who don't think as they do are just wrong. We were found on freedom of religion, not just their religion. All people should have the right to worship, or not as they believe, whether Muslim, Atheist, Mormon or any other religion. There are good people in all, as well as bad. Nobody should be judged for their race or religion.

Since they number so many and are different than the major established religions. People alienate others for a variety of reasons: religion, too fat, not tall enough, different race, skin tone too dark/light, social/economic status, etc. etc. This will continue as long as people are here.
