Like even access to getting any 'good' food. I heard it ALL sucked really bad.
However my first concern would be to get what I wanted to get out of a spiritual pursuit of mine; a retreat of some kind--buddhist,ect.
Have you been to Tibet [asking those who have] and pls tell me a little about this place, thank so much :--)

well, I'm sure many people would say otherwise. It depends on what you like to eat.

I haven't been to tibet but I'd like to go. I've gone somewhere in the region.

If you are looking for a retreat and concerned about food you need to reevaluate what you are after.
