No, it is common nowadays that adult children of parents stay at home. Mainly because costs are high to live on your own. As long as you are either working or in school or bettering yourself in some way then I would approve of you staying home until you can get on your feet.
Back in 1991 I moved out on my own when I was 18 then when I had a terrible split with my ex when I was 25 I moved back to my parents house for a year. Then I moved out of province for a year. The middle sister of mine was living at home as well, she was 23 at the time. She was also on her own at 18 or 19 at first. My youngest sister had moved in with her b/f and that lasted 4 years then she moved in with my parents at 23, she had moved out Last August of 2006. She is 25 now.
So it isn't weird at all. ME personally I would rather live on my own. Parents are great! but I need my space.

No. As long as they aren't sitting on their butts infront of the tv all day while their parents work their butts off to bring in the money.
I'm 21, and still living at home for the simple fact that my mother died when I was a baby. I feel bad about leaving my dad alone.
I don't think it's weird. I think it just depends on the situation. If you're doing it just to leech off of your parents, I'm sorry. but you need to move out and get a job.

No, I'm 19 and still living at home. I work and go to school full-time... and it's really hard to get out there on your own.
Now if you were about 30, that would be a different story! =]

20 isn't as bad as it could be. It's more understandable, since the kid is young and still trying to get on his own.
So no, I don't think so.
Especially when you think that a year ago they were only 19. It sounds young.
