I'm looking at joing the Intelligence Corps but don't want to be stuck inside too often. Do the British Army Intelligence Corps ever get to go out and patrol, fight, gather info on the ground or anything like that?

No, they mostly sit in their offices and analyze data collected by the few field officers, same as every other nation's Army Intel.
