Actually, it IS hairballs. The sooner they throw up after they eat, the higher the hairball is located- throwing up right after eating suggests the hairball is in a place that keeps the food from even getting into the stomach, in fact it usually comes out looking pretty much like it looked going in!
Using Laxatone (or similar) two times a day for a few days, then once a day for a few more days, and supplying your cats with grass should help them to move things along faster.
I use Solid Gold Katzen Flocken dry food, and I mix in about
one quarter Science Diet adult hairball control, and it works great.
I also groom regularly.

I have an older cat that pukes a lot too. I found cheap solution after changing from one expensive cat food brand to another; CAT GRASS! Plants aid in the digestion of foods in cats and when cats are outside they eat plants when they are able to. Cat grass is a mixture of wheat grass, oat and sometimes even catnip. I keep big pots of wheat grass growing next to the windows in my house where my cats lounge out and can nibble easily. You can usually find the seeds for growing your own at most pet stores or already planted. My cat doesn't puke anymore!

My one cat pukes because she over eats. If your cats like eating and are a little on the heavy side then they are probably doing this too. Monitor how much food they eat. Give them less in their bowls than you used to. It helps with my cat!

Take them to the vet to make sure there is no medical problem. If they keep throwing up, they could dehydrate and die. I lost a cat to dehydration after Hurricane Katrina because she wouldn't eat at the place we evacuated to.
My cats couldn't eat those "Fancy" foods in the can. It made them puke all the time, so we switched to Science Diet Senior, and Science Diet Lite. One of our cats had kidney disease, so we had to give him Science Diet KD.
See your vet to make sure it isn't something serious. I hope it's not.

Try the new Iams Digestive care in the pink package. I had a cat that was doing the exact same thing, and she's been fine ever since I started her on this food. Good luck!

I have two cats who were doing the same thing.I found out it was because they had tapeworms. My dog was going outside and fleas were getting on her (even though I use frontline on my animals) and when shed come in the house theyd get on my cats. Then my cats would eat the fleas which (fleas carry tapeworms) caused them to get the worms and then theyd eat like crazy and throw up alot.

Siamese are known for doing this a lot, and one company made a food especially for them (and cats who eat and barf) that actually stays down.
Royal Canin Siamese 38 is the name, you can have it ordered through a pet supplies store (grocery stores won't carry anything but the garbage food). I can highly recommend it, it solved the problem for one of our cats who would eat and barf.

Your cat likely has a hairball difficulty. oftentimes hairballs are not that massive of a deal, yet often times, they could pile up and reason problem, consisting of your case. attempt putting some hairball lubricant (attempt very nearly any puppy save) on your cat's foodstuff and observe if it helps.

What are they eating? Have you got cat food that is good for them, like specifically for sensitive stomachs?
