It's when ever you feel comfortable. Seventh and eight grade was about the time when people really started going out. But it wasn't serious and they were never alone together.

whenever the girl feels comfortable. i would say the parents too, but then no one would ever go out on a date. sometime parents see their children as little kids even when they are 14 and 15 yrs old. if there are no trust issues between the parent and the child, it should not be an issue when the girl feels she is ready for a relationship. however, strict schedules can be put in place for a situation like this. [it also depends on what being gf and bf means to the particular person. sex is one thing, just dating is another]
there shouldn't b a specific age group because some girls mature faster than others, and even if they mature faster, that doesn't necessarily mean thy want a boyfriend. hope this helps good luck with whatever your problem may be=]]

I can tell you at what age a parent should ALLOW a girl to date (15-1/2) ... but saying at what age a girl SHOULD start dating is just WRONG ... what if a girl wants to be a nun when she grows up, and doesn't want to date at all, or what if a girl just wants to wait until she's done with all of her schooling before she starts to date?

whenever she is ready for it.. there is no specific age because every girl is different.. if i had to put an age i would say that 13 is ideal for starting to date because you are just old enough and at that age you are curious and it is better to get that curiousity out on guys at that age then when they are expecting things at older ages. but that dosent mean that you should start "going all the way" at 13. A better age for that would be 17

THE best age, proven, is to start group dates at 16, and couples at 18, (prom and homecoming excepting for 15-17, but those are fun with groups anyway)
hope this helped.

There is no specific age that anyone should start dating. Personally I think it should be when a person understand the consequences of having unprotected sex. Even if that person decides to wait until marriage to have sex, they should still be aware of the consequences to avoid any accidents.
It's also good to know all about good relationships and bad relationships. Also how to respect yourself, not let a guy force you into something you're not ready for, but allow yourself to do things you want to do safely when you're ready.

i started dating at 13 ((i am still 13)) i went on my first date a few weeks ago and it was really nice so i don't think you can put an age on it as long as you're not under 13 i would say. cos the younger you are the less into guys you should be. but anyway, i think when you're ready tbh. =]
