To be confused is really one thing and to witness for Christ is the hard thing to do as most christians say. When a christian receive Christ as his personal Savior and Lord, the Holy Spirit comes in and mark the christian and he become a spiritual being. He becomes spiritually alive, and brings him from darkness to light. He was dead because of his sins and now becomes alive and his eyes that was blind can now see and understand the spiritual things about God. That is what exactly happened, which the Bible keeps on telling about the mystery of salvation.
Now, here are the questions, are the JWs spiritually dead and blind, and the answer is YES. So if they are dead and blind can they freely witness without struggle to the people that are dead and blind too? Of course, the answer is still YES.
Let us now have the christian witness the dead and the blind people because of their sins. Here is the questions, If christians are spiritually alive and can see and witness to the spiritual dead and blind, is there No struggle and hardship?
The answer is NO. There is always a struggle and hardship because the dead and the blind can never know they are sinners and need a Savior God because they were blinded by the spirit of the enemy of God, so unless God convicts them of their sin and the Spirit convicts them of their indifference. That is why the Bible always says God first loved us not that we first loved God.
We cannot control the dead and the blind. The Bible says the seed (word of God) planted on the soil (people's heart) have different reactions and results. Christians need to do is to throw the seed or meaning to speak of it, and that's the struggle of christians witnessing for Christ. Read the Word.

Honestly no. I am a Christian, one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I try to not push my beliefs on to others agressively but I do try to let my beliefs affect how I act and I have no problem letting others know I'm Christian.
There are some who are rude, and certainly even more who are unreceptive, but I just try to keep on going.

I generally share the gospel in more subtle ways, like inviting them to special christian events and answering philosophical / ethical questions from the Christian perspective.
That way the potential for abuse or loss of relationship is minimised while the seed is planted.
Unlike JWs or LDS that I often see go gung-ho!

If you talk about Jesus then you will offend people, so, why not do as Jesus suggests and try to be helpful to people, love them, try to find out what they need from you, treat them as if they were your most beloved sibling, give them as much respect as you would give Jesus, and maybe they will ask you why you are such a good person
then you can talk about Jesus
let each soul walk its own path

Yeah...I do admire them, actually.
I share the Gospel with a person once, and try to answer their questions. If they're not receptive to it, I let it drop. I don't believe in pushing Christ on other people.

I don't admire the JWs at all, not one bit. I work third shift and am constantly annoyed by them, Baptists and LDS banging on my door while I'm sleeping.
I mind my own business and any good, civil Christian should mind theirs.
And yes, I get angry. How'd you like me to pound on your door at 4am, assuming you work days?

Usually if I even mention the name of God in public I get interrupted, silenced. I remember working with a guy and we got to talking, he asked about my past and all I said was God brought me where I am today, and he stopped me short and asserted that I should not speak that name because it is "offensive". And atheists still think WE'RE the ones shoving OUR believes down THEIR throats? Ignorance must be bliss!

Once the seed is planted, you have done your job. It's their fault if they take things the wrong way, for you are only trying to save their souls.

I remember hearing/reading the story of someone who I think if I have it right, didn't like another Christian's way of doing things or something but came to realize that this person was witnessing about Jesus through message shirts or maybe some other witnessing items. And that could be planting seeds or watering them. Your witnessing to others (even if a silent witness who waits until they ask why do you have such great hopes in you or someone who comes straight out and tells it as is) could cause the seed to at a later time take root or become watered without their knowledge and then they might go to church or hear the gospel and become saved.
If you show the light in you well enough like a beacon to the lost ships, and become like a friend and get real with others in need that you help, they may ask why are you so happy or how did you get out of such and such situation, at which time they will be more receptive about Jesus, including the ones who are straying. It is when a person has hit rock bottom and is desparate that they will either try to continue fighting their way out of that gutter (or to a better place in it) or they will eventually look to another means to fulfill them or in trying to get out of a situation. Because I have been through so much (and am still going through things), I hope that when I am healed enough that I will use my situations one day to help others who are in situations like mine, and who knows, maybe they will see how great HE is through His work in me, maybe even become saved or at least this work will be planting seeds or watering them.
If they are hostile and unreceptive, pray about the situation repeatedly, even after you see a change. Make it your desire that they and you can open up with softened and enlightened hearts for our Lord and where there is no hostility or closedness (except against satan). Help them, and be sincere but not pushing Jesus down their throats. Why should you push it down their throats when they can have a thirst and come to Jesus when the Holy Spirit convicts them. Remember the part in the Bible that tells about how the wives can win over their husbands? And remember how Jesus was towards a woman about to be stoned; he stood up for her and protected her, even when she was caught in the very act! He was loving people who others didn't even think were worth spending time on and drew crowds to Him wherever He preached. If you are interested in witnessing, become seriously invested in their lives and show them how to have fun the way the church does, like gospel mini golf or Christian night at the skate rink or be loving and helpful when they are in need. Be giving and be kind. But don't be insincere or ingenuine.
Some religious people can draw strayers or unbelievers to Jesus and some can push them away based on words and actions. So please be careful, and please stand up for the abused and battered woman when other Christians might not believe her or take her husband's side that she is wrong and deserves to be punished because she doesn't submit enough and isn't perfect or good enough to be treated like a person with feelings. Please help the poor who have no home; if you have room, you can take in at least one person; or you can buy a meal for and/or give clothing to someone living on the street or someone whose house was burned down or flooded. You can wear a Jesus shirt at this time and hopefully a seed will be planted or watered. If you donate money, you can pray over the check, cash or credit card that it will be blessed, protected, and will multiply on its way to help others who will become saved eventually as a result of this.
At an extraordinary women's meeting, I think one of the women said that....it took her over 20 years to become saved, so don't stop trying or don't give up hope. One person at another place I think said it took 40 years. Think how long Christians were around and how many were persecuted before Saul finally became Paul.
Think how perceptive people will be if they see a Jesus tie or a verse like delight yourself in the Lord and He shall give you the desires of your heart, Romans 8:28, and something about Jesus from the gospels or your own personal inspiration. If they see that and you with a grin on your face or helping others, people may ask what does your shirt say, what does your tie mean? And that's when you can answer their questions and invite them to something fun that your church has going on or something that would help that person in their time of need.
You can also carry around business cards that have a ministry workers name on them to help people in distress or I've even seen flahsy orange cards and fake million dollar papers with personal messages (they look so real that people would pick them up if seen on the floor). Put these around wherever you go (bathroom counters, tables at reataurants, phone booths, offer it to someone in a business meeting if possible, the pizza or food delivery guy, in your wad of cash when you give money to a clerk, on the checkout counter in different parts of it, at Target or other department stores when they ask or try to get you to have one of their cards, and so on.
Include a phone number and website addresses (your own, a ministry worker's, and/or the church's).
