They're caught in a loop like an errant computer program. They can't escape. All they can do is keep circling the same beliefs over and over and over until they die.

Point seen as Christ is but Christ not God and being Christian is just having a center around one person Christ. There is no objection in the behavior and love it is that just those plus a center around Christ and not a Supreme Being is something that may approach what proof seekers seek. An ordinary fallible human being is something which can provide a ''proof'' of sorts. There is also this to consider which is while they do note the importance of Christ they also wish to aknowledge those who died after him so this may be the momment to remember those who died in The Nineteen Eighties and before. Remember South America and the liberation theology plus the potential people have to abolish war. Then as said in the question it would be Christ as an inspiration ,his followers and The Proof Seekers who may end war.

Historically, people don't come to believe in a God based on logic or arguments.
People come to believe in a God primarily based on proximity (where they were born and live), culture, and emotion.
Emotion is the polar opposite of logic. Logic also won't be able to change where someone was born or how they were raised.
So if you ask someone to use logic to prove why they believe in a God (or that a God(s) exist), you're asking them to use a methodology that is foreign from the one they used to form the belief. Belief in a God is often a foundational belief, or basic belief.
Of course, this is a broad generalization and does not apply universally.

The proof is all around you. You just cant see it because you are blind to the truth. Your sin has deceived you to the point where your logic and power to perceive things is so flawed that you are virtually blind. You have no excuse
Proof # 1 ... Seashells on Mt Everest
Proof # 2 ... DNA
Proof # 3 ... The human Eyeball
Proof # 4 ... Irreducible complexity
Proof # 5 ... the continued existence of the Jews
Proof # 6... the Grand Canyon.
Proof # 7 ... irrefutable evidence for the Resurrection of Christ
Proof # 8... Regathering of Israel to the land in 1948
Proof # 9 ...events predicted & fulfilled in the Bible
Proof # 10... The Dead Sea Scrolls
Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

this could go on for a long time, but if you were laying on some train tracks and I said a train is going to run you over. You may say, thanks man. or you could say, I've never seen a train, what is this that you speak of. I could talk about it and you could send me away. Then you would have to learn the hard way. Could this life represent the time it takes to show you proof? I've never been forced to try to answer this question..it is a valid one. not one that can be answered on yahoo answers I'm sure. I get tired of Mormon fairy tails from a con man, but any Mormon would be totally offended by that. I can't seem to win those proof arguments either. those are on a monumental scale of provability.

You have neglected an important factor. We're not the one you have to argue with.
It is normal human nature to take more chances and go farther in searches as a direct function of the possible gain. If I told you there was a penny in your backyard, you wouldn't look for it even if I proved it. But people stand in lines to buy lottery tickets with very little chance of winning.
So it boils down to what is finding God worth to you? If you really wanted to find your Creator, you would at least honestly search for Him, even without evidence. Do you see the logic?

Well, there is proof but some people are just too blind to see it. You can talk to somebody until your blue in the face. You can show people things until YOUR eyes strain. But if your deaf to the words and blind to the picture, how the hell are you supposed to learn anything?

I do see the logic.
I do not have to prove anything to you.
Can you accept the fact that my reality is different from yours? As long as I am leaving you alone, why can you not respect my beliefs?
Live and let live.

To know that spirit of truth, one must be of that spirit of truth.
Do you think God will reveal himself to you if you don't even attempt to know him?
God reveals himself to his children. If you are unsaved, you are with sin. And God who is without sin cannot and will not come to you. He cannot have any association with sin.
So you ask for proof. Yet, you refuse to seek the proof. And to get to know the other person on the other side of that wall, you must take the wall that is between you down.
And that can only happen if you seek him with all of your heart.
Recognize that compared to God who is perfect, without sin, you are a sinner and fall short of his glory. Ask him to forgive you of your sins. Mean it with all of your heart. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and you will know without any doubt, God is true and all men are liars. Your life will never be the same. And God will show himself to you. All you have to do is believe.
God is spiritual.
A man who is physical cannot understand, cannot see the things that are spiritual. Unless he first be given spiritual eyes. A man must be born again to enter the kingdom of God.

Because they have their proof - it's called the Doctrine of Blind Faith.
I know what you're trying to say, but no Christian or Atheist is going to convince anyone their side is right on Y!A.
