i dont know too much about stroker kits but i was thinking about gettin one. They are expensive the cheapest one i found was a brian crower kit. From what it said it takes it from a 2L to a 2.2L. I think they are around $3500 check it on on briancrower.com

Haha that made me laugh (pushrods). My friend has one in his redtop. He loves it but paid out the a** for it. Its stroked out to a 2.2. Great power gains. Kills two birds because the internals are stronger than stock for more boost. His was made by HKS and paid around 4k for it.

Just to clarify, all reciprocating engines (non-rotary) have connecting rods between the pistons and the crankshaft. Connecting rod not pushrod, in this case.

Ask the pros - http://www.240sx.org

Lots of stroked and built SR's floating around on there.

Personally, I'd prefer leaving the stroke as-is and building the head for 9000 RPM's, like this guy did (how-to): http://www.nicoclub.com/articles.php?id=238409
