And then the person next to him or her would have their place setting on their right, and the silverware and stuff would be too close together. What's the proper etiquette here? All place settings on the right, even if the person will be inconvenienced?

The place settings should be uniform and those left handed will adjust. You might seat a known left handed person at the end or at the left end of either side of the table for your quests convenience so they are not jostling elbows. T4

Put the place setting the same as for everyone else, but if possible, seat that person so that he/she is at a corner or something and has no one on his/her left. That way, this person can have more arm room and won't be bumping elbows with a neighbor.

You set the table as you normally would. It would be nice to sit them on the end of the table so they do not have to sit next to a right handed person. They will keep bumping elbows.

I'm left-handed and one of the first things I learned to do right-handed was eat. This is expected.

In general, making allowances for people IS inconveniencing them. People who are different learn to adapt and by making allowances you undo them.

Yes,display all the settings as they should be. The left handed person(like me) will simply use their left hand.

Things usually work out without worrying about the seating. Unless you are placing them so close together that they will butt elbows.

How thoughtful of you to not want to inconvenience your guests. Set the table properly, the guest knows what to do.
