I mean come on, he gave them wings but then them so small that they couldn't even fly. And then, to add insult to injury, he placed them in an environment full of flying birds. Atleast other non-flying birds, like the penguin and ostrich, have alternatives. Penguins and swim and ostriches can run, but poor kiwis can just walk around.

Why would God play such a cruel joke on these harmless creatures? :(

I ask Christians because there are more Christians here than Jews and Muslims.

Actually, Catholic Crusader, you were right until you said I didn't care about Kiwis. They are pretty much my favorite animals, and I think it's weird that you God would do this to such an animal.

God did make it so Kiwis can't fly, but he also gave the Kiwis a big ego. If you were to ask a Kiwis "which is better? Small wings or big wings?" The answer every time without hesitation is small wings. So you see there is a method to his madness.

Of course it is a belief, though I suspect you already knew that. Faith, by definition, is believing something as truth without any evidence. However, I believe no reasonable person can truly have the faith I describe above. Therefore, in order to believe in a deity, one must have some type of evidence, no matter how inconclusive.

If you're being that picky, why not ask "Why doesn't God like his creations?" There a flaw in every one of His creations (i don't mean he messed up- i mean everything has its faults)

and kiwis can't miss what they never had.

God is testing their strength. Kiwis are God's chosen birds. Though they suffer now, they will be like albatross in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Aw, I'm sorry. Kiwis are so cute. God didn't play any cruel joke on any of His creations. He loves them all.
