Question for the men (about makeup)..?

I have seen many questions on here from women regarding if men actually like makeup on women. Every single answer from men AND women is that they prefer "less is better"..the natural look. Maybe a little makeup, but that's it. I was thinking to myself..if this really was true, then why do men drool over all of these celebrities who cake on all that makeup? I mean, these women get the pros to do their hour and half makeup jobs! If men really want a 'natural beauty', then what's with them oggling after fake-looking celebrity women?

I remember in 6th grade, after my class went swimming, we got back on the bus and one of the girls in the class had applied make-up, it was the first time I saw a girl in my age group in make-up, I remember it vividly... I thought it looked terrible!... I don't like it when women wear too much make-up... and some women cannot look as good without it... let me explain... in later years, in residence, this woman moved in after the mid-year break, and all the guys were fawning over her, and I thought she was cute too... then one day I knocked on her room door to tell her she had a phone call, and when she answered, it was 'Dawn Of The Dead'... she looked pretty bad without make-up... anyway... I personally like the natural look... i think my girlfriend looks the most beautiful when she has absolutely NO make-up, but when she puts some on, it's just the right amount.... a lot of guys think Pamela Anderson is hot... I think she looks plastic, fake and rude... and there are a lot of celebrities that have that same problem... let's face it - Hollywood types have to wear a lot of make-up under the glare of lights, otherwise they would look REALLY bad, so when you see some pictures, they look all caked-up, so I can understand that, but the ones that most guys drool over do not appeal to me, because usually without any make-up.... urp

Trust me most guys do prefer the natural look just cause then we no what you look like, I hate girls who wear alot of makeup this one girl put makeup on in my bathroom and there was so much orange on the counter it looked like someone killed a pumpkin in there, we drool over the celebrities cause they just that people most guys cant get and they take really good care of themselves for the most part you cant tell how much makeup they are wearing cause you never get that close

men drool over all beautiful women, not just celebrities. but for the woman they want to be with natural is better. when the time is right who want to kiss makeup. I want to taste the real beauty baby not make up.

first of all, even if we ogle someone it doesn't mean we actually want to be with them, or even sleep with them. we're just looking.

secondly, we're not really looking at their faces all that much.

thirdly, many celebs try to go for the "natural look" anyway. we're not drooling over the ones that cake their makeup on, like tammy fae, we're looking at the ones that are naturally healthy. even boobs, i'll look at the fake ones but i don't like them as much as the natural ones, if the woman carrying them is strong and confident.

That is very easy,,, non of these drooling men ever see these celebrities up close! I recently purchased a High-Def TV and let me tell ya'... you can see the caked on make-up on the celebs, and it is pretty gross.

And get this,, you can really see it on the males as well! Male newscasters and whatnot seem to wear lots of it too.

With celebrities, their make-up is usually so well done by make-up artists that some people tend to forget just how much they're actually wearing. :/ It's true! Some people automatically think... "Wow, her skin is so healthy and glowing!" when in actual fact she's really wearing an inch of foundation & concealer. xD

1st most guys want what they cant have just like girls. celbs have to "look" like they arent wearing alot of makeup and me personally i dont like a lot of makeup on a girl because its just stupid, i like you for you not because you can look like a barbie! Trust me its true less is better but those celbs arent real and guys will most likely never meet them so dont worry about it...

Okay a little makeup to brighten up the facial area is good!
Mascara, eyeliner or eye shadow its all good! MAYBE a small amount of lip gloss..
But NOTHING that is gonna make you look plasticy ....
TINY amounts (if any) foundation .... No Dark coloured lipstick etc.

men don't like girls that have tons of make up and eye shadow. however cover can be different. Basically guys like things looking perfectly natural.
