I agree with emotivated. I have the F10 and have been very happy with it. If it disintegrates, I'll get the F30. When I went to Disneyland, I was able to use my F10 to get a cool picture of the "hitchiking ghosts."

In July 2006 the Fuji Finepix F30 redefined what is possible for a compact camera in low light. Digital Photography Review Concluded "the F30 is far and away the best low light compact camera on the market today, bar none."

In early 2007 Fuji released a minor upgrade called the F31fd, which included face detection

The F30 had a little brother called the F20 and the F31fd has a little brother called the F40fd. They are also very good in low light.

Now the F50fd, also known as the F50se, has been released in September 2007, but customer reviews don't look so favourable, it seems the nose is higher than in older models.

Are you planning on using flash or do you want to take actual night pictures of the city skyline? Once you specify what you want to do it will be easier to answer your question.
