How long does it take for the bipolar medication to set in?

It can take more than a week. It did for me.

PS - worst medicine I've ever taken. Good luck on it, you'll need it.

you should be feeling better in a couple of days. SSRI antidepressants are the ones that take 3-4 weeks to kick in. An antipsychotic like Zyprexa is faster-acting.
