Has anybody else left R&S cuz they felt it was pointless?

Question

I feel like its starting to get boring debating something that cannot be debated. It's only fun if its in person with a friend.
Come on...the skeptics (atheists, agnostics, religions with less doctrine) hatin on the religious right and vice versa...has anyone else felt fed up and just left?
I sure hav.
But I am wondering why this continues. Besides the fact that it is fun...the main reason I got involved in the first place.
But do you guys hav any other reason for doing this besides the fact that debating is fun??

Hello, I'm sayinghave they EVER left.
like I left. I came back of course. I've left several times.
The last time, I didn't really come back to this section.
But I'v come and gone several times.

I take frequent breaks because it does get tedious to be here at times. I'm on the verge of another one, and will probably make myself scarce for the next few weeks.

While it can be fun to have this continual back and forth, I find that the people who are particularly hateful irritate me too much to spend the amount of time here that I used to.

It wasn't always like this. When I first joined there was a sense of camaraderie, and everyone was respectful, regardless of beliefs.

Then the report trolls showed up. This was right around the time the newsrooms eliminated their discussion forums, and they all ended up in here. The decline was inevitable, and by the time last November rolled around, a lot of good people had left.

I got involved because I live in a very small state with an extremely small Hindu population and those that are are Indians (I am Caucasian) and are very private...it's not like I can go up to them and say "Hi, can I do pujas with you at your house??". On R&S I've been able to make some contacts and it's been a blessing!

If the 90 percent of idiots on here left here ( on both sides ) it would be more fun . People would rather insult or get their 2 points rather than answer respectfully . Watch , I'll get 18 thumbs down for this .

Well if they left R&S they wouldn't be able to answer your question.

I personally don't get tired of... debating... since you never know what will happen if you concince or get convinced of something. Its just an ongoing discussion.

you want to bypass out and luxuriate in your self discover pastimes you get excitement from doing, bypass on a spending spree, pamper your self, make your self experience like you're particular. when you're unhappy with paintings, discover one which more desirable matches your personality and occupation aspects. the purely component which could help you isn't faith or relatives its your self you gotta be reliable and do belongings you get excitement from doing. perchance hit upon a compulsory different bypass on dates. sturdy success x

for awhile yes...i do go to other sections...
but there are some good ques so i come back again and i choose the best ones normally...cant answer them all..
