I have 2 indoor cats and have noticed fleas lately. Last Saturday I bombed the house, gave both cats a bath, and applied Frontline. before I did all this I only noticed a couple of fleas on the cats, AFTER doing all this my house is infested..its like the flea bombs were literally bombs that released fleas...Help before my hubby makes me get rid of both cats.

Hm bathing cats - bet that was fun! Don't do this, flea shampoos do not work. Also, if you applied the Frontline within 48 hours of bathing it probably won't work because Frontline needs the natural oils of the skin to work, and you will have washed those off.

Flea bombs are also not particularly effective - get a spray from the vets. The fact that you're still seeing fleas (I presume they were live, hoppy ones, not dead ones) shows you haven't quite done the right treatment - stick to Frontline regularly, and do make sure it gets on the cat's skin, not her fur. Get a decent spray from a vets, and stay well away from all store-bought flea products,

I had to flea bomb my place a few years ago, and it worked well. Are you sure yours was meant to kill fleas at all life cycles? If not, you potentially only killed the adults, and left their eggs behind. Also, another site I just checked said you might have to bomb twice. http://community.livejournal.com/vegetarian/3756062.html

Here are a few places fleas could be hiding:
In your upholstery, pillows, blankets. I did a boatload of laundry at the mat while my bomb was eradicating my pests.
In your vacuum cleaner. If you have a bag, change it. Or if bagless, empty the canister and clean it out. You could certainly have eggs in there that are still hatching.

my suggestion....move out! JK..I heard there is a chemical that you place in the center of your home. Everyone has to leave the house because your entire home fills up with this chemical for several hours. It is suppose to kill everything. Good luck!
