I mean that is all waste of money, especially the paint job and installing all the crazy technogloy. Rather they should take cars that are new (or couple years old up until 1999) and pimp those up because they wont break down fast or anything

That is not what was happening. I saw them do a follow up show on rides and they had one twit who was speeding not even 1 hour after he got his car back and tore it up. They replace engines so there has to have been something else wrong and it was operator error. If the owner does not maintain the car, that's not the show's fault.
