I am glad the U.S. still has secret weapons. No, the public has no right to details. We elect a President and Congress to oversee such things. All governments have legitimate secrets and the wise ones protect their secrets.
I suspect a few foreign governments have already guessed what the plane was doing. It would be irresponsible to disseminate all the details.
Being a high technology society brings some risks concerning safety, it also brings some rewards.
