Hmm....I will have to think about this one for awhile, but one thing that I would note for you, is if a dream symbol interprets as "birth", that could mean alot of things, and you could give birth to a project, or an idea, or your death in the dream, or your friend's death in the dream, could mean that either one of you could have reached a new level in your maturity, leaving behind old attitudes in favor of new ones. Death in dreams is rarely about one's own physical death. Death represents endings and beginnings, hence the confusion in regards to death meaning a birth. Both are processes signaling a release from one phase of life to another. You and your friend are both very young, and it is likely that you are both developing new attitudes, and leaving some things behind in your lives. I do find it interesting that you and your friend are playing interchangeable roles in this series, perhaps you are each helping the other to new growth in this phase of your development. While you describe this other person in terms of friendship, and not a love relationship, I wonder if the relationship itself is heading to a new phase.....

Which part of the song really speaks the most???
Because it is more about the "bring me back to life"
part ..."wake me from this cold"

you know, immortal...in a vampire sense...
and with Halloween coming...it could really
ramp up the dream for you...wink...

I think too, it is a "end /beginning cycle"
for you...and the friendship...
not a "Death" of the kinship...
or even a "deeper connection"
just you know how relationships
evolve...
just surface deep, to sharing memories deep
to "got your back if there's trouble deep"
to "rather hang than go scouting" ...
you know....
so it's not like you will do more, or less
with this friend...
it's more about how you "Feel" and what you
will "let" get to you...
overlooking surface faults...with ya til the end...
type thing...

The "Wake me from this dream"
(Warm the blood, reach into my soul
where i've become so numb....)

I love the imagery of the song, and it's been used
in so many dark films...shows...you know...
but more about the fact that you are recognizing
he gets you at a level most don't...
it doesn't have to be romantic, can be ...but isn't strictly...
so I can't give you "loving" advice...or promise
that the "base" will shift...
only that your emotions are strong, and true...
it's a sign that you trust him...

that is good, right?
does this hit close or am I just off base here....

thats weird.

you know, i dont think ive ever heard a song play in my dream.

i just wanted to make that comment. im not practiced in psychology or anything to do with dreams. so i really wouldn't know the subconscious meaning of it.

it might mean something along the lines of either how you view yourself, or how you think your friend views you. that you are in a sense "dead" to them, or they to you.

I would say that you feel your friends dont really care about you - you are in a sense "dead" to them.
