I am in love with this guy and we've been going out for like almost 2 years and its been an on and off relationship. I think he doesn't treat me the way he should and don't think he's faithful. Are there any guys out there that are faithful? Is there such a thing as someone being faithful? Anyways I met this other guy that is older and is very sweet and I like him. I've been talking to him and think he's awesome and well he really likes me what do I do?

Unless you are overly attractive and drop dead gorgeous no guy will ever be faithful to you. See we guys take girls as they come and go. If the next one is better we just dump the previous one!

I am not a guy, but sounds like you need to dump the first guy, simply for the fact that "he doesn't treat you like he should"....and, yes, there are some guys that ARE faithful, believe it or not.....most of them are dedicated Christians.

On the second guy....how MUCH older is he? If he is more than 3-4 years older than you (based on how old you sound by the wording of your question), cut things off with him too. He would be too old for you, if you are say, 14, and he is any
older than 16 or 17.

Girl, if he does not treat you well, then there is no point in continuing the relationship. But, if you think that the new guy may better than him in every possible way, then you should definitely dump your current guy and go on with the new one. Just be a bit confident in what you do and everything may turn out to be perfectly fine. Don't think about it much. just go do what ever you think is best for.If you are doing it just for the sake of popularity then it may not be the right decision. Do what you think would be more appropriate. the final decision is yours only. Adios

Obviously don't hook up with the older guy until you end it with your boyfriend or else then you are being unfaithful. Of course there are guys out there that are faithful. I am one of them. i could never do that to another person. If he treats you bad leave him and don't take him back. Have some self respect.

On/Off relationships can be considered an open relationship. If neither of you have maintained an exclusiveness to your relationship then there is room for someone to be unfaithful. It is possible that in your off period that your guy could have ventured out and found another girl, but if you two have been serious then there shouldn't be anything to worry about.

Obviously you know you deserve better, and asking yourself what to do shouldn't even be a question... You found someone that obviously makes you happy, and who you like. I think you should give the new guy a shot... Break up with your boyfriend before your feelings begin to grow its not fair for him either you wouldn't like to be in his position right?... It will be hard to get over your boyfriend but if your not happy and you have the chance to be with someone who will make you happy then definitely go for it!!

Many guys are faithful. I am . . . I've been married for 7 yrs. Sure, I've met some women I wondered about, but I would never cheat on my wife. It's lowers my honor and her respect.

Tell the guy your dating that he should respect you or else you'll start going out with the other, older guy! But say it in a nice way.

dump the first guy and go with the second.
have a talk with him about whether or not you will see/date/text/im other people early in the relationship so expectations are clear. you should try a different boyfriend.

Sounds like a no brainer to me. If the new guy treats you the way you deserve to be treated go for him. Also, if he's treating you that well, he's less likely to cheat on you.
