I told the guy i like him and he told me he doesnt like me in that way.

I have accepted it but i dont understand why he wants to go somewhere just the 2 of us.

Hes told me not to think anything of it.

But he still seems to want to talk to me on the phone and every day on msn.

Is he just trying to be close mates with me or whats he doing?

Thank you for any advise.

He probably really does enjoy spending time with you and thinks you are a great person..but he's stringing you along.

Basically he's feeding his ego. Everyone likes it when they have someone to admire them, and he knows that you certainly do.

My advice is to stay away for a couple of months. Give him time to miss you. In time, he may realize that he liked being with you a lot more than he initially thought. If not then you've opened yourself up to find someone that REALLY wants to be with you. It's a win-win situation.

I think he wants to get into your pants. If he doesn't like you in that way what is he doing trying to get you alone and leading you on by talking on the phone.Yup I think he would use you and then dump you. Find someone who cares about you.

Why read anything into it? He said he does not like you romantically, but it sounds like he just wants to be your friend. Just accept it, and don't take it personally. Maybe he is gay, and not interested in women in a romantic way, but just wants friends.

it could be that he just wants to get physical and nothing more or he's too afraid to jump all in, but wants to test the waters with you first.
