6:00 A.M.- Bowl of Frosted Flakes with 2% Milk

12:10 P.M. - Medium Blueberry Bagel, 10 Baby-Sized Carrots, 1/2 Orange, and 2 half pints of 2% Chocolate Milk, and .5 L of water.

(I drink water all day in place of all at-home beverages.)

I'm still deciding what to eat the rest of the day, since my Mother likes to not buy food when I ask.

Suggestions? Comments?

Frosted flakes are bad, bad cereal - its better to eat whole grain cereal (and not one that says even "made WITH whole grain"
Bagel is not a good choice as well- plus i suspect it was made out of white flower
Eat more whole grains and dietary fiber for breakfast and it will make you feel full longer
you need more protein, fruit and veggies in your diet
you should be eating small, frequent meals

You ate pretty good.
probably should stay away from bagels, they have a lot of unwanted calories.
Carrots are good, but they have more calories than you think. If you are trying to eat more veggies; try celery, or cucumber. the great thing about veggies, is that they have enzymes in them that eat fat.
you should also stay away form 2% milk, especially 2% chocolate milk, it has a lot of sugar and calories. if you have to have milk, try non-fat or 1%.
Also, you should add more lean protien, like a chicken breast, or fish.
here's a good site to check calories
http://www.calorie-count.com
you can search for the calories in any kind of food.
Also, make sure you excercise.
you should try to balance your diet between all of the food groups, but choose healthier options in those food groups.

Frosted flakes have a ton of sugar and carbs. If you don't exercise to burn it off then it will turn to straight fat. Bagels also are kind of high in calories, not to mention carbs. 2% milk is also fattening. I would switch to skim, and eat more foods that are high in protien and low in sugar and carbs. Like a deli sandwich without the bread, chicken, or fish.

Yes, you ate okay. If you exercise about 30 or more minutes a day you should eat at least 2,000 calories. Just eat more fruits and veggtiables and skip on the blueberry bagels. They can be full of calories and unwanted ingredients!

well how healthy are you trying to eat? like diet or normal healthy? if it's the latter, i say you did pretty good. maybe skim milk instead of 2% tho. wow, i wish i had that self-discipline. fish is also good for you. i'm taking a nutrition class and we're supposed to have like 2-3 servings a week. i love fish!
