They did not invent these things because they were Mormons!

I find it incredible that people criticise other faiths, religions, cults, call them what you like.

It is incredible that comments along the lines of, 'I hate (insert religion, faith, cult here) because they try to change my views.' Which religion does not try to change others views?

All a bunch of hypocrites!

Live and let live and treat everyone the same is my attitude. I dislike individuals for who they are, not groups for what they are or where they come from.

Also, several people were involved with inventing the television and the earliest traffic light was a gas powered revolving lantern used in London in 1868.

I may not agree with your religion but I do want to thank the Mormons for their wonderful genealogy library. I have used it several times when I was in Salt Lake City plus the web site at the local wards where I live.

I have discovered that even though my husband was raised Episcopalian he is distantly related to Joseph Smith, something like a fifth cousin.

Fry sauce is mostly only found in Utah, I've noticed, since I've never seen it anywhere else.

It's a mixture of ketchup, mayonnaise and something else. Nothing really to write home about.

Wow! We've really helped society huh? It's funny to think that some people don't think Mormons drive, watch TV, shoot guns . . . If only they knew better . . . Oh wait! Now they do! :D

dude, people hate us because too many schlubs decide to go on an evangelical tirade and call it their life's "mission" to convert the heathens, and they do it by shoving beliefs at non-believers, putting down others, and then crying foul when it happens to them. and i dont know who said it, but just to be clear, im pretty sure that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is a Christian sect...

I think that if you dug deep enough you would find people from all different faiths that have contributed to the betterment of society as a whole.

Stop pushing so hard and accept persecution as a factor in your faith. Try teaching love and patience instead. There will never be any proof for anything, as proof invalidates faith. Don't use your actions to give Mormonss an even worse reputation.

Mormons are actually some of the nicest people I've come across, but it's the door to door recruiting that bugs me.
