Simple, two syllable names are the best option when trying to train a dog b/c they can be picked up or recognized easily and your dog won't get them confused with the single syllable commands such as "sit!" "down!" or "fetch!" Plus, a lot of cute names can be found!

Willow would be a perfect name for a white female, I think. A gorgeous name for a gorgeous GSD.

2-3 syllables are best when naming a dog so they can distinguish their name from common commands. I like snowie or stormy for a white dog.

Years ago I went through kitchen cabinets and movie characters. Now I wait until I have gotten the pup and named him/her based on their personality.
But there are wonderful websites with great suggestions.
