I work for a Hospital and know for a fact that a lot that happens on shows like Grey's Anatomy, ER and House NEVER happen. However, there is a lot of sex in the maitenance rooms. :o)

Since I'm a desk monkey at a non-descript company, I suppose "The Office" would be the show that represents my job. The character named Pam does roughly what I do- sits at the front desk, does admin. stuff, takes crap from a ridiculous boss and his flunkie. I think that's why I don't watch the show, actually- it just hits too close to home. I do like how they have made it look like Pam, the lowly admin, is definitely one of the smartest characters in the office, though. They've got THAT right! A manager is only as good as his admin, LOL.
