i think that everybody is different and no two people get tattooed for the same reason.
i wouldn't say i have a "lot" of tattoos but many people would consider the tattoos that i have to be pretty substantial.
i think if a girl has a lot of tattoos then she must be committed to them and what they represent to her.
more than that i think that there are a lot of terribly judgemental people that know nothing yet think they know everything. i know that i'll be old one day and i won't regret my tattoos then or now. i'm also not a beer guzzling tomboy biker chick. i am a very normal, jeans and t-shirt kinda girl. i wear makeup and dresses and i play board games and read a lot of books... stereotypes are stupid and the only thing they prove is that the people who believe them are just that... stupid.

The whole image of women being masculine, is just pathetic no two people get a tattoo for the same reason, or significance, everyones story is different.
I See tattoos as like a diary entry on the skin, a permanent reminder of something that obviously means alot to that individual. I find that highly admiriable.
Peoples perception on the women getting tattooed has changed over the years, a few years back she was seen as unworthy or an outsider...which is pathetic,,
It all boils down to personal preferance....

I'm a 40 yr old woman with tattoos
I love them and they are still looking good as they did 10 years ago when done.
What I didn't do it get cliche art but unique that meant something for my life journey. There are more to come.
I cant always wear my jewelry as I do martial arts but I can always wear my skin.

I think they are hot if the tattoos are classy and done right. Like Kat Von D (I don't like her I like her tattoos). Some women just look nasty though. I have a few myself and I am working on a sleeve.

I don't understand how people think tattoos add or detract from a person's appeal.
Tattoos in no way affect my opinion of a person.

ususally not a fan (even though i have one) but it looks good on some. it just depends. most girls i've seen w tons look trashy. but there was this one time i saw this girl who had a sleeve all the way up her arm.... it was so her. made her look a million time more fine! But i'm sure thats the exception...

As a tattooist myself, you might think my answer a bit biased, but I know a lot of people, including women, who have a lot of hours on 'em. They're people from all walks of life. What are you really asking?

I like them. But that's cuz I'm biased. I have 9 tattoos, and several more ideas - at least 5.

It depends some people just get stupid stuff like bunnies, when people just go to get one then i'm like naw, what for, but definetly don't think it takes away from who they are, like Kat Von D, i think she looks rad in all those tats
