Ok this is going to sound a little confusing, Ive been friends with a guy that ive been in love with for two years. Through this time we've had hard times, good times, but always ended up talking again in the end. We would go out play pool with his friends, go to eat, and just drive around and hang out. At the beginning he would say how only only really cares about 2 girls and it was me and his exgirlfriend. And one night finally after about the first 6 months he told me he wanted to make love to me. So we met up that night and talked for about two hours and then we just started kissing and all that good stuff then it happend in his back seat.. He acted completely normal after we did. ...Ex girlfriend in a year but i think he may still love her. We just had sex last night and he told me how im the only one that will ever get it and he said i love you. My question is, how do i know if he cares about me and isnt just using me? Y would he lead me on and he knows how much i love him and would do anything for him?? Ahhh what do i do im so confused!!!??

I was in a situation like that once. It was way way to much to handle. Oh so confusing. So i got over it. My situation was only different cuz the guy was still w his girl. I couldn't see that i was being used. Maybe I wasn't i'll never really know. but I had to get over it. So I did. He would be a friend still, but my husband now hates the fact that i hooked up with one of my friends. He still tries to keep in contact, but i think the thing he is really interested in is what he can't have. It was really only something he couldnt have and once he could he lost interest so now he can't and it drives him nuts. So go out dancing with someone he will feel intimidated by, and someone who will appreciate you. and see where ignoring him leads

EDIT: I didn't read the last part - that was a little insensitive. It is possible to have feelings for 2 different ladies. Just be careful cause it sounds like someone is going to get hurt.

He sounds like he is confused and not over the ex yet. Maybe he hasn't had enough time to get over her since they broke up. I would give him some space and maybe date other guys until he knows for sure how he feels about you.

I would have to say ask him those questions. If you two are that deeply in love you should be able to tell him your feelings and worries and he should be able to ease your mind.
