You would need a Firearms Manufacturing license from BATF along with a Firearms/Parts Import/Export license to import parts or components. Several hundred thousand dollars to purchase the manufacturing equipment needed to make stampings as well as machine parts. Several more thousand to hire qualified machinists to produce the parts etc. You would also be restricted to making Semi-automatic AK's only, as producing fully automatic weapons is ILLEGAL and a Federal (Felony Class) offense. You would need to find a production facility that is zoned for commercial use. Not to mention, additional money for production costs and liability insurance to protect your initial investment.Another words you would need a millionaire to back you up financially and lay out the cash....All this before you produce a single part....

In the U.S. you need a "manufacturing license " from the ATFE prior to building them to sell. Not to mention several million dollars in liability insurance so when some yahoo shoots himself in the foot ( or someone else) and sues you, you might be protected.
