I would like to get a new tattoo... Love the water / watersports.. so was thinking along that line.. something tribal type maybe.. probably would put it on my shoulder or hip.. Any ideas?

maybe you should look at some japanese wood block prints, like hokusai's great wave.

The sky's the limit on that one. You can do jellyfish, starfish, sea urchins, crabs and lobsters, all kinds of colorful fish, even the mast of a shipwreck on the ocean floor, studded with barnacles. If you were not a girl, you could incorporate a treasure chest, with gold doubloons and pieces of eight on the ocean floor. Hell, you could do that anyway, if you like. I would do it in bloodlines, rather than lining anything in black, you know, a realism piece. It'll look awesome! Great idea for an awesome backpiece. Take your time, and have him do a sitting every two weeks, so you won't max your dad out. But you knew that. Take care.

don't ruin your body with a tribal tattoo!!! there are so many things that you could get to represent your love of the water that would be more pleasing to the eye. you should check out judy parker as well as nick baxter who both do amazing water scenes.
