Would you rather God just didn't give us free will? God has a plan to put an end to this, but it involves suffering for now. We suffer because of our own faults, though. Not because he wants us to suffer, but because he wants as many of us as possible to spend eternity with him. None of us can see all the "what if's" except God, so how can you say what you would do unless you know what he knows? You can't.

Wow, this sounds like a question I asked my sister when she said the new world order is here and we are all being watched (big brother, etc..) I said if this is true then those sh**heads better do something about all these innocent children getting hurt / killed. I can understand what you are saying because this is a tough question for me. I have heard free will as the basis when someone will ask this question (in bible study). Good question. I would like to see what everyone answers.

excuse me, I believe for those who test people faiths with questions like these are actually contributing to a rape and murderous world. I believe so because if people change their faith after seeing and thinkin about questions like these, if they leave a great lifestyle and relationship with GOD that teaches against these terrible things then they are more likely to do them... we people with relationships with GOD know all about tests.... tests were in the bible all of the time. I would never even be worthy of making the decisions that GOD does but I agree with them completely because, he is great. Some murders bring families closer to GOD, that is the point right... a strong relationship with our GOD> THE GOD.

This question cannot be answered decently with a simple 'yes' or 'no'.
It can't because you have incorporated terms like "sit back"
and "do nothing".
Would you consider the question:
If God is apparently doing little, He must have a very good reason, no?

I'd give everyone fair chance, fair choice and fair odds.
Sometimes the "odds" aren't in your favor, sometimes they are in life.
Sometimes you get a fair shake, sometimes you don't.
Not worth crying about. Try harder.
God helps those who help themselves.
Unfortunate situations might not be "God's" fault, but rather the fact some are lenient to criminals in the justice system, and let them on the street.
Also, parents would be highly responsible too, right?
What about society?
God gets all the blame when things go bad, but none of the blame when you pull something off.
Then its "YOUR" accomplishment.

Certainly not, that's why I commanded in the Bible not to do these horrible things. And that's why I created people with conscience and mind so that they able to think and do what is right and not do what is wrong, and arms so that people could stretch it and help the needy...while people are complaining, God is working. Will you be one of His vessel?

No-- so perhaps our idea of God as all controlling needs to be reexamined. That may mean we have to take our role in society much more seriously than we do. In other words its up to us because God is not omni present.

god doesn't neglect his people stop blaming god for the things that goes wrong in people's lives that's the work of the devil he has his workers just like god who sends his guardian angels to protect us so it a competition between the both but the lord is mighty and powerful just put all your trust hopes problems in his hands and have faith in him, and you will see how your trials and tribulations will soon be over god doesn't give us more that we can bear.

God is not separate...sitting back and watching, doing nothing.
You misunderstand...we are God. It was God who was raped and murdered repeatedly. As God, what are we going to do about it? We created the system and conditioning - what are we going to do about it?

Never.
Nor would I put someone I supposedly "love" into a burning lake of fire for all eternity for finite offenses.
EDIT:
And Kinkstafizzle shows the true colors of the fundamentalist mindset:
"I believe so because if people change their faith after seeing and thinkin about questions like these..."
Because thinking about the religion leads people away from it.
