yes it will make him miss you if he really cares about you. it may bring you closer together .once he finds out he cant live with out you.

i know kind of cheesy lol but its true. he's asking you to give him time and space, he didn't break up with you so thats a big difference right there. maybe he has issues he needs to solve on a personal level. if he really likes you and misses you, he'll be back. don't take it too personally if you're not even sure what his deal is about

well if he is asking for time and space, that there is a reason not to miss you....the way for someone to be missing you is if there is something you always do that they love and need.
if your not there and he misses something you do or just your company, he will miss you.
