i do no longer think of maximum of them understand that there grow to be a Christian church formerly 500 years in the past. many that I even have talked to do no longer care that the church Christ began remains around at present and this is pre-denominational. (needless to say) The Romans have been area of the church yet, they chosen to go away it so as that they could advance their very own doctrines, situation loose. The Protestant and reformation flow rebelled against the Roman sect 450 years later because of the recent doctrines the Roman sect had created. somewhat of returning to the church Christ began, the protestants responded by using bobbing up their very own doctrines and started their very own sect, two times far off from the unique. The reformation flow accompanied close in the back of them by using doing the main suitable comparable factor.

The Catholic Church at the beginning was the original church and did keep the faith of Jesus for the first 300 years of the early church. What we are saying is that the Scripture defines who a true believer is and the Catholic Church somewhere strayed from keeping the true faith. They allowed many pagan practices infiltrate the system and dogma of the church, God, not man had others break away form the false to keep pure the truth.
Look, 1 Corinthians chapter 10 tells us that the Israelites are examples to us how not to tempt God. One of those things that caused judgment to come upon Israel is that she went after the pagan Gods of her neighbors. This is to be an example for the true Church, "don't worship idols, nor let pagan practices pollute the church."
I believe that as long as Catholics would follow this advice they would be accepted by our Lord.

I don't know where you learned ecclesiastical history but whoever you learned it from neglected to introduce you to the Orthodox community from which Roman Catholicism split 1500 years ago. Sorry to rain on your parade but there's another older franchise than RCism.....your statement/question is historically inaccurate.

The Orthodox Church was here before the Roman Catholic Church. During the Great Schism the Roman Catholic Church split away.
Anyway, protestants, Catholics and Orthodox are all Christians.

I love seeing how creative people can be in making up history about Christ's Church. The Catholic Church started at Pentecost and was the original Church. the Bible confirms this fact as does history. History is something we should reflect upon instead of using fanciful imaginations to create it.

I am a protestant, and I would never say any such thing. I only say I don't agree with some teachings of the Church..Like birth control. I find the Catholic Church beautiful warm and loving for the most part..

Hmmm....

Are you familiar with the Greek Orthodox church? How about the Chaldean church, the Coptic church, the Assyrian Church? Look them up. You will find that the Catholic church in the form it has dates to about the 5th century; one might make the argument that it dates to Constantine's period. The first Universal Bishop of the Catholic church was 606 AD.

They have never been the face of Christianity.... they are not of The True Christian Faith... those of The True Christian Faith have never been submissive to the tyranny of the Roman cult. The Church has existed since the Day of Pentecost following the return of Christ to Heaven.... The Church was commissioned 300 yrs before The Roman cult even got started.... the Church was commissioned by Christ himself....The foundation of The True Christian Faith was laid when God provided The Way for Adam and Eve, and all who came after them, to return to Him... there is no "vicar" or "pope" as head of The Church... only Christ is The Head of The Church.

and no man stands between God and His people.

The Roman Catholic Church was formed in the 400s AD...and other churches were being formed in 1054 AD(the Great Schism) so only 600 years was the Catholic Church the "face" of Christianity...
