No smacking!
1] if she bites, grab snout, raise her head to look in your eyes, and say firmly, 'Princess, NO. No biting.' [ Always call name first - works with little kids too - to get their attention. ]
2] have everyone in your family do same, so she knows that is wrong. Always say name, no, and no____whatever.
3] treats are rewards for doing something, not for not doing something. Save those for come, sit, down, heel, etc.
4] get her a puppy safe chew toy, and hand it to her after each event [ steering to positive behavior also works on little kids! ]

wel hitting her nose usually works for my dog when my dog eats something she isnt supposed to and stuff...but not all dogs are the same... keep doing that, she might get used to it and know that it is wrong to bite! also, give her a treat when she doesnt bite, then she will know that if she is good, she will be rewarded...but dont always give her treats-then she will get too fat, sometimes just reward her with pats, kisses and hugs.

maybe getting a chew toy will help too, then she will have something else to bite

also, instead of hitting my dog's nose, sometimes i kinda yell NO! and like point my finger at her and she will know that she did something wrong and not to do it again!

hope i helped!!!

XOXO

Wow, thats young to be smacking especially such a little dog. Seems a little early to be teething, but invest in some good toys she can chew on. Try startling her and telling her no when she bites you. Don't hit such a little puppy!

Grab its top jaw and force her jowels into her teeth. Wait until she squeals then stop. Do this everytime she bites and she should stop once it clicks in her brain that you will do it everytime she bites.
