Is there a time limit on grand jury indictments?

I've got charged with entering auto back in April 2005. Its almost 2008 and its still pending. Isnt there a limit on things like this?

The statute of limitations in states that have them are normally the same as the maximum sentence you could receive for the crime itself. Auto burglary is probably in the 5 to 10 years range.
